Welcome to my website. This website will give you information about me and the work I do. If time allows, I try to keep my blog. You can find my blog under the ‘adventures’ button.

After having worked as a teacher, deputy and educational adviser in several Dutch Secondary/High Schools and Universities, I left the Netherlands in 2006 to start working as an educational adviser in the Ministries of Education and Health in Cambodia. In September 2009 I defended my PhD dissertation 'Developing professional learning in Cambodia' at Twente University in the Netherlands. Currently, I am working on the revision of the basic education curriculum for the Government of Suriname in Paramaribo, the capital of Suriname. Suriname is a small country in South America.

Aside from my work, I am interested in travelling, hiking, cinema, literature, photography and arts.
